Some Spring Fun!

The sunshine has really allowed us to get outside and have some fun these last couple of weeks, thank goodness! Here are some fun shots!

Hannah and Titus. She was so sweet to hold his hand and of course, Titus had no problem with that.
Checking out the giraffes at the Philadelphia Zoo, the nation's oldest zoo.
Hannah and Titus checking out the otters.
One of our friends from Connecticut moved here and we had the chance to attend her daughter and son's joint Birthday bowling party.

Someone enjoyed the mini chocolate cupcakes.
The future farmer on a little tractor at Johnson's Farm.
He enjoyed the big one even more!

April Showers!

I love Spring! Really, I love both of those "in-between" seasons of Fall and Spring! It has been absolutely wonderful to feel some warm sun, smell flowers and fresh-cut grass, and play outside just a little longer in the evening. One of the best purchases I have ever made for Titus has turned out to be his rain boots! Being all boy, he has no problem jumping into any kind of puddle and with the rain that we have had, he has had many opportunities!

Swing, swing, swing, swing.....
SPLASH!
Just wading around.
A stick to probe the water creatures.
Always helpful when walking the dogs.
And, he is off!
Our sweet, wonderful boy!

Just Horsing Around!

We have been eagerly anticipating those first few warm days of Spring! Hopefully, they are finally upon us, even though we had snow last week! No matter what the weather, though, we try to do some fun activities with Titus. He, like most toddlers, has a lot of energy! We are thankful that he is a healthy little boy who has legs that run fast and a good countenance so that when he falls, he can get right back on up!

This is one of his favorite activities...playing horsey on Joel!
On one of the park bridges. He has figured out that bouncing and making the bridge sway is so much fun!
Headed down the slide at a friend's birthday party.
Trucks!
Mowing...the flower bed.
A friend of mine snagged this little trike at the thrift store and this was the first chance that we have had to use it. Titus loved, loved, loved it. I can see many cycling adventures in our future.
The next Lance Armstrong?
Grandpa Ferguson got Titus this bike for his Birthday. He cannot quite touch the ground on it yet, but Joel was there to help out!

What we have been up to!

We have been keeping busy here in New Jersey, just waiting on Spring to arrive! Joel has been gone a great deal this first half of the year, which has been an adjustment for everyone! We are fortunate to have friends to play with and a great neighborhood, so we are thankful.

Titus and his pal, Ginger.
Checking out the tanks on base.
Riding the carousel at the Please Touch Museum in Philly.
Hop, hop, hop!
Playing at the Please Touch with Wyatt, Frankie Lu, and Sam! Where did our little babies go?
I can say this for Titus, he is a little helper! From unloading the dishwasher to pushing the laundry into the dryer to feeding the dogs to cooking to taking out the trash, he just wants to 'help.' I will enjoy this all I can right now, as I do not know how things will work out when he is 15!

Birthday Fun!

Titus turned TWO! It is so hard to believe, and this past year definitely went by faster than the first one, so I can only imagine how fast the future days will pass! He is really coming into his own, personality wise, and is a pretty darn social little boy. He always wants to engage other kids, hug, and play. Sometimes they appreciate this and sometimes not. He really know how to get what he wants now, especially attaching 'please' to his sentences. It is hard to refuse a kid who says, "more please," "cookie please mama," and "kiss please." He is a joy and it is so fun to see God developing his personality!

I wish for more cars!
Joy of joys! Titus loves to 'read!'
Since Joel was not here for his birthday, Titus and I spent the day with his friends and then had a little date at Chick-Fil-A!

Winter in Austin.

We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend some time in Austin this January. It was great getting the chance to visit with everyone and have some much needed Barbecue and Mexican food! Next time we will have to plan our visit for the Spring, when the weather is even warmer!

Dad Ferguson got Titus this cat piano, which he adores. Titus loves anything with music and can really keep the rhythm. I hope that he has the chance to develop this love for music as he gets older.
Titus and Pooh enjoying the view from 35,000 feet.

Paw Paw has a stove that he let Cash and Titus help tend to when the weather was so cool! They loved being able to pitch in.
Titus playing on the fire truck at Barton Springs.
This was Joel's hat when he was little. Isn't it funny that even though we were in Austin, Titus is dressed exactly like he is for winter in New Jersey?
Casey, Cash, and Titus practicing the fine art of sharing.
We went to Salt Lick where the musician played a song about Cash and Titus. I wish we had video of it because it was priceless.
Gran and Titus eating some grub.
Grandpa reading a BIG Pooh book to the boys.
At the hike and bike trail.
Titus helping granddaddy stack the blocks.
I LOVE this picture. Look at all of those smiles.
On the train at Barton Creek.

We are Back!

Well, it has been a long time! Joel is away for the month of February, so I am doing the 'single' parent thing, which is very, very hard:) I am also taking two classes right now, one of which is corporate finance (yuck), so the blog really fell by the wayside! I have a quick minute to update everyone, so here goes! We have started a tradition of going to an aquarium each New Year's Day, and we had a blast at the New Jersey State Aquarium this year. They have a lot of touch tanks, which was fun and since Titus is still under two (for one more week!) he was free, which is a huge bonus!

Touching the baby rays.
In the shark's mouth.
Sharks!
