2 Months Old!

Titus is 2 months old today! It is so hard to believe and so many changes have occurred. He can smile now, enjoys watching his fish in his bouncy seat, loves cooing, and is sleeping a good deal at night (fingers crossed for this one). We have loved watching this little one grow and just cannot thank the Lord enough for giving us the awesome responsibility of raising and loving him.

The Aunties Visit!

Two of my closest friends, Kristi and Kelly, came to visit this past week. I have known Kelly since high school and Kristi since college. We were all roommates at JMU and they were bridesmaids in my wedding. They, along with Tiffany Delage, are like sisters to me. In fact, I would just flat out call them sisters. So, it was very fitting that Titus got to spend some time with his Aunties. He was totally enamored with both of them...they are both so beautiful and great! Titus is one lucky baby to have them in his life!

He is Risen!

Isn't Easter a glorious time of year? There is always this sense of renewal and a re-commitment to my personal walk with Christ at Easter-time. Last year I was finally baptised, although I accepted Christ as my Savior over 15 years ago. Our church requires people, who wish to get baptised, to go through a class on baptism in order to make sure they know why they are doing so. It was great to get into the Bible and seek out answers to all of my lingering questions about baptism. As I was going about my day today on Easter, I kept reflecting back to this class and thinking about the unending, ever-present, totally undeserved Grace of Christ. I think of all of my sin, both already committed and that to come, and I am in awe that there is so MUCH MORE grace in Christ's Resurrection than in any amount of my sin. It is overwhelming and victorious.

I hope that this same Grace is yours during Easter, as it is a magnificent gift and restores us. Without it we are hopeless. Romans 5:20

Here are some pictures of Titus with his first Easter basket and with his bunny. He had a pretty fuss bucket Easter, but I kept putting my hand on his heart throughout these bouts and asking him to have a 'happy heart,' which settles him down. Doing this somehow makes me settle as well and revel in all of the Glory of the day.
