Four Months!

This post is a little past due, but the Ferguson household has been busy! Titus is already a little over four months now! He had his four month shots and check-up where Mama cried more than he did and the doctor said he is doing great! He weighs 14.6 pounds and measures 25 inches....so he is just growing and growing! Titus has learned to roll both from his belly to back and back to belly, which makes diaper changes fun! He loves to stand up on any surface, plays with his toys, still sleeps through the night without a swaddle, and is developing a cute sunny disposition. We started leaving him at the church nursery a couple of weekends ago and the ladies love to dote on him, while he is enjoying interacting with other babies. We just love him to bits and pieces, and enjoy being his parents.

Happy Father's Day!

It was so exciting to watch Joel celebrate his very first Father's Day! When Joel and I first began dating we covered all of the serious topics right out of the gate. We talked about children and that someday we would both like to be parents. Then Joel went on to say that when he had kids he wanted them to know that God and his wife came first. He felt that if they knew this that he would be a good example as a father. It was a great insight into Joel and I was smitten to say the least. Joel is a great father and it is such a joy to see him with our sweet son. He also continues to be a wonderful husband and a fantastic Godly head of our household. So, Happy Father's Day to my sweet man! Titus and I are very lucky to have you.

Also, Happy Father's Day to my Daddy, who was and still is very inspiring to me. Happy Father's Day to Dad Ferguson and Tony....I am such a lucky girl to have you both in my life and have two more loving Fathers that I can depend on! We love you all!

BBQ Fun

The Commander of Officer Candidate School, Commander O'Connor, will be leaving the unit this summer to attend the Naval War College in Newport. He invited all of his staff to his home in Rhode Island over the weekend for a great BBQ. It was wonderful to see everyone and catch up on a beautiful summer evening.

Dad's Ordination

My Dad was ordained as a United Methodist Minister on June 3, 2009. I am so proud of my Dad for following the Lord's Call. Some people have a mid-life crisis and get a Porsche or new wife. My Dad, he completely flips careers. From the Naval Academy to the Marine Corp to NASA to General Electric to Lockheed Martin to Ministry. We are excited for his new journey and thankful to all of those who have supported him. I am also so proud of my mom for providing encouragement to my father and following him from here to there and everywhere. We love you and are so thankful for you both!
