Our Little Don Juan.

So, Titus goes to the nursery on Sundays and he has the chance to visit with the other babies and kids there. This year a lot of babies were born in the church, so he has some good playmates. Our Assistant Pastor, Josh, and his wife, Jen, had a baby, Emma Grace, this past June, and she is just so precious. Anyway, Titus must think so too because this past Sunday, he put the moves on her! Now, Titus loves to kiss in general, but we just couldn't stop laughing over this. If this is what is happening at eleven months, I can only imagine what the years will bring.

The courtship begins.

A gentle, forehead peck.

Full on KISS!

Poor baby girl!

Eleven Months!

Titus is eleven months old! Seriously, how fast has this year gone? He has about nine teeth now, is cruising, standing up, talking up a storm, and just being his generally wonderful, sunny little self. Every night I think to myself, as I go to sleep, that I could not love him any more than I do. The next day I am proved wrong as that love just grows. This week we celebrated the sanctity of life at church and as Joel and I pondered over all of those babies who don't ever get the chance we became overwhelmed by God's Grace in giving us Titus. We certainly don't deserve something as wonderful and precious as our little boy.

Happiness is this little boy.
About to make a break for it.

Snuggling.

"The Look"

Joel and I both love getting Titus up from his naps or in the morning. He just smiles and giggles, so happy to see us.

Some Videos

The Ferguson household has been up to a lot recently, preparing for our upcoming move. Titus himself has been up to a lot as well. Here are some clips of his most recent adventures.

I just want to dance!

When I was pregnant with Titus, Joel took me to see the Nutcracker at West Point. Throughout the entire performance Titus kicked and flipped, wiggled and punched his little arms. He was especially fond of the international dances. We delighted in feeling him move to the music. It came as no surprise then, when he was born, that he always loved to dance. He loves music and will either bounce or rock when he hears something he likes. We like to dance with him as well. Joel always kids that when he is old enough and we ask him what he would like to do when he grows up, such as be a pilot, doctor, writer, pastor, soldier, etc., that he will turn to us and shout, "I just want to dance!"

Shower Time

Some nights we get a break from the traditional bath with Titus and he takes a shower with Joel. They always have a blast.

Someone's in the Kitchen with Mama...

It is no secret that one of my purest joys is cooking and baking for my family and friends. Before I had a family of my own I used to bake cookies for my co-workers and try out new recipes for dinners with friends. Now, I have the great pleasure of cooking for Joel and Titus, as well as friends, on occasion. My mom is a fantastic cook, my aunt is an amazing baker, and both of my grandmothers were at home in the kitchen. It seems as if I have another cook on my hands! Titus loves watching the pots boil, looking inside the oven to see what is baking, and "helping" unload the dishwasher. Checking out the refrigerator.
Spatulas are great for teething!

Unloading the dishes.

"Mama, may I have an orange?"

"Are those cookies I see in there?"

Babies, Bongos, and Belugas.

Happy New Year! We are excited to see what 2010 has in store! Here are some of the things that we have been up to so far.

We had the opportunity to babysit for our friends, Scott and Dionne. Baby Josslyn is 7 weeks old and so beautiful! It was so different watching a little girl, who seemed so much more delicate than Titus! She slept on Joel, smiled, giggled, and was so precious. Titus was a little nervous when he woke up from his nap and saw a new baby! He warmed up once he was introduced.
Titus, being sweet to the baby.

Titus, enjoying a snack and a new present.

My mom and dad got Titus a bongo drum for Christmas. It is so neat and he adores it so much! He especially likes it when we switch it to Spanish!

Joel had a great idea to go to the Mystic Aquarium on New Years Day. Wesaw penguins, whales, stingrays, sharks, and of course, fish. Here is Titus watching the beluga whale swim by him.

The boys, getting excited for the sea lion show.

The sea lion show. It was so fun and they reminded of us of Pai and Ginger.

Checking out the piranha.

Titus loves turtles, calling one of his bath buddy turtles "Tutatoo." It was no surprise that he was fascinated with this one!

This Beluga was huge, but so cute!
