There was really no doubt as to what Titus was going to be for Halloween. The hair, his singing and dancing, and the girls wanting to kiss him.....he could only be one thing! So, here he is as the one, the only....ELVIS!
At the Old Mystick Village. Titus is growling at some monster walking by.

8 Months!
Titus turned 8 months this past week and is showing all of the signs of baby to toddler independence. This month he has learned to crawl, become much more vocal, eats various finger foods, like Baby Mum Mums, Puffs, Butternut Squash, Pumpkin, and Banana, has four teeth, and is growing into his own big boy personality! We have been enjoying Fall and spending as much time outdoors as possible! It is wonderful having Joel home and one of my favorite things during the day is when Joel comes home from work and Titus hears his voice and just grins from ear to ear, squealing in delight. He loves his Daddy so much! I am one fortunate girl!

Our Little Joy!
We have been enjoying watching Titus grow and become very playful! He is beginning to crawl, play peek-a-boo, and actually play with his toys. Here are some videos of our little joy.

Our Little Pumpkin!
We have been out and about enjoying Fall in New England! This past weekend we enjoyed a cookout with Joel's fellow officers and Officer Candidates. They all doted on Titus and he ate it up! We then headed to Lyman Orchards to check out the pumpkin patch and go through the corn maze. We had a great time and just enjoyed making new family traditions. Here are some pictures from the fun!

Just Because.
Since we had snow yesterday, I figured I better get Fall pictures up before we are in a different season.

Visitors from Virginia.
My dear friend and old college roommate, Kristi, came by for a visit on her way to an anniversary vacation in Cape Cod and Boston with her husband, Eric. It was great to see both of them and it was wonderful to watch Titus with his Auntie Kristi. She has nine nephews and nieces of her own, so she is simply a natural with kids! I cannot wait to see her again in November for our girl's weekend in NYC!
A happy pair out to lunch at the Recovery Room.
A little game of tug o' war.
The little dancing machine. We joke all of the time about the day when we ask Titus what he wants to be when he grows up and he says, "I just want to dance!" Kristi didn't forget the dogs! She brought some Nathan's Hot Dog dog Treats.

Our Precious Ma.
Our sweet, precious Ma passed away this past Monday evening. Joel spent a lot of his childhood with Ma and admired her strength and intense love. She was also a true testament of a faithful woman. Ma could usually be found with her Bible close by and a sweet word about God's Grace was usually on her lips. I was talking with Mom about Ma and she said that Ma's legacy was the faith she passed down through the generations. She said that Ma brought her children to church, who in turn brought Mom to church, who then brought her boys, Casey and Joel to church, and we bring Titus to church. I imagine that she will be blessed beyond measure in heaven as she helped to bring so many people to Christ. After all, isn't that why we are all here in the first place?
When Joel was saying good-bye to her over the phone, he told her that he loved her and that we would all see each other again. What a wonderful thought. I look forward to seeing Ma again and until then, I know that we will all pass along the dear memories of her. I can only smile when I think that she is gazing at our wonderful Father's face and that He is so happy to have her Home.
